How Champions are chosen
A short, human process. We are looking for people who ship, not people who apply well.
Apply or get nominated
Open applications, plus nominations from the Sarvam team, past hackathon judges, and partners.
Screen
We verify against the criteria. Creators and City Leads need a real shipped build or a real event they have run.
30-minute call
A short conversation about intent, capacity, your city, and alignment on the code of conduct.
Onboard
Sign the Champion agreement, join the private channel, and receive your welcome kit and playbooks.
What we look for
- You have shipped a real, non-trivial build on Sarvam, or you demonstrably run a credible local community
- You are active on the Sarvam Discord or on X
- You are aligned with the Champion code of conduct
- You have been nominated or vetted by the Sarvam team
