What you can dub

AI dubbing for YouTube videos turns an existing upload into Indian-language editions in the creator's own voice, so YouTube dubbing does not need a new recording or a voice artist.

  • Long-form videos

Vlogs, explainers and reviews from your main channel. Each upload becomes language editions in your own voice, with no new recording or voice artist needed.

  • Collaborations

Videos with co-hosts and guests who each keep their voice.

  • Sponsored segments

Brand reads where the sponsor's name has to stay exact.

  • Back catalogue

Older uploads that can find a new audience in another language.

What matters when
dubbing YouTube videos

Viewers subscribe to a person, not a topic. A dubbed edition has to sound like that person, and it cannot mangle the names and sponsor reads the channel depends on.

Keep the creator's voice

Voice cloning carries the creator's vocal traits into the dubbed track, so returning viewers hear the same person in Hindi, Tamil or Bengali.

Get names and sponsor lines right

A sponsor or a guest's name can come back translated. Fix it in its timestamped block and regenerate that line before the edition goes out.

Localise the back catalogue

Paste a published video's link instead of downloading it first, or dub a batch of older uploads through the API with one job per video.

Review every line before export

Keep your voice and your sponsor reads intact in every language edition.

Original speaker voice

Clone your own voice so each edition sounds like you, not a narrator.

Line-level editing

Fix names, catchphrases and sponsor lines in their timestamped block.

Regenerate individual blocks

Re-voice only the line you corrected and keep the rest of the edition.

Multi-speaker separation

Keep co-hosts and guests distinct in collaborations and interviews.

Translation register

Match your channel's tone with Auto, Formal or Urban colloquial.

Subtitles

Request an SRT per language for on-platform captions.

Audio mix

Balance your dubbed voice against music and background sound.

Lip sync

Dubbed dialogue is aligned with your on-screen movements.

Frequently asked questions

Can I keep the creator's original voice?

Yes. Clone speaker voice is the default setting. It tracks each original speaker's vocal traits and carries them into every target language. You can choose a Sarvam voice instead.

Can videos with multiple speakers be dubbed?

Yes. Set the number of speakers when you create the dub, and Sarvam separates each voice before translating. Round up if you are unsure, because two speakers merged into one slot blend together in the output. Setup fields lock once the dub is created.

Can I correct names, brand terms and sponsorship lines?

Yes. Every translated line is editable before export. Correct a name, product term or phrase in its timestamped block, then regenerate only that block.

Can I export subtitles with the dubbed video?

Yes, through the dubbing API. Add srt to export_options and each target language returns a subtitle file timed to the dub, alongside the video or audio you request.

What video formats can I upload?

The workspace accepts MP4 and MOV video, or MP3 and WAV audio, up to 2 GB per file. The dubbing API also accepts MKV, WebM, AVI, FLV, WMV and M4A. In the workspace you can also paste the link to a published video.
